In what way does are media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?


In our media piece we have used the idea and many conventions from the film taken. We have taken the idea of a girl being abducted by two men who then beat up the man. Originally we did not choreograph the fight scenes but we watch some Action films and looked at the fight scenes and realised that we had to choreograph the fight. Another convention that we used was movement in unison, when the two attackers chase the girls and catch her, it is all done in unison. Unison makes the piece look more professional and it keeps the piece tidy.
